The Legacy Team had a great time in Austin Texas at the 2023 Bioremediation Symposium!
The entire event was an amazing opportunity to connect, learn and share knowledge amongst industry professionals. Legacy's Todd Hanna chaired a session on Innovative and Efficient Amendment Delivery Strategies. Other Legacy Team members who made the trip out to Austin included General Manager Sean Lance and Operations Manager Amner Ramos.
The Legacy team flew in Sunday to settle in and do some sight seeing in beautiful Austin, Texas.
We got the chance to tour the University of Texas Athletics Hall of Fame, making Legacy's biggest Longhorn fan (Sean Lance) very happy. We were also joined by Frank Stolfi, of Veteran Drilling, as we checked out some rooftop views overlooking downtown Austin.
The Legacy crew managed to travel via e-scooters throughout the Austin. We added numbers to our e-scooter crew as the conference progressed, as the scooters were not only the fastest mode of transportation, but the most enjoyable.
Nothing better than having dinner with clients and fellow contractors/former coworkers at the same table. This might seem unusual for most industries, but when most of you have worked together for the past 10-25 years, it is always a good time. #LegacyRemediation #TalonLPE #TWSenvironmental #VeteranDrilling #AlpineRemediation #GeoLabDrilling #GreggDrilling
While in Austin, we had our share of Texas BBQ, but our favorite by far was Aaron Franklin's place, Franklin Barbecue. The lineup starts around 6:30 AM, but they don't open until 11:00 AM. Afterwards, we were lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Smoker Room and speak to one of the Pit Masters. The wait was 100% worth it, best BBQ ever!
